More Bush Logic
Bush won't extend the deadline for senior citizens to sign up for the Medicare drug prescription plan because..."Deadlines are important," the president said
at a retirement community, less than a week before the last day for most seniors and the disabled to enroll in the program without facing higher prices. "Deadlines help people understand there's finality and people need to get after it."And yet, he won't impose a deadline on the "Iraqi government" so they would "understand there's finality" so we can get our troops out of this colossal disaster.
So let me see if I have this straight:
Bush is giving Iraqi's a break by not even imposing a flexible deadline on them so we can put an end to the senseless casualties we're suffering in a senseless war that he foolishly started; but he screws seniors by not extending an arbitrary deadline on a very complicated program that he implemented, takes credit for and is responsible for.
Yup, sounds like more Bush logic to me!
